I had mixed feelings about my stay at this hotel. On the one hand, the location is excellent for exploring both old Hammamet and Yasmin, and the cleaning staff did a great job keeping the place tidy. However, the dining experience felt chaotic with kids running around, and the food options were quite limited, catered mostly to older guests. The rooms need a bit of an update, and the service left much to be desired, especially during busy times.

The room had a gorgeous sea view and was cleaned daily, but it really needs an overhaul. The air conditioning worked, but there was a nasty smell coming from it, which was pretty unpleasant.

Service was very hit or miss. I felt ignored at times, especially when trying to order drinks, and I was disappointed by the lack of responsiveness from staff.

The location is fantastic, perfect for visiting both the old town of Hammamet and Yasmin. It's convenient for exploring.
Dining

Dining felt like a cattle market, with people rushing to grab food. Breakfast was mostly just eggs which got repetitive quickly, and dinner options were lacking quality.

Facilities were decent but could use some upgrades. The overall experience didn't feel luxurious, and the amenities did not live up to expectations.

I stayed at Movie Gate and overall had a mixed experience. The location is fab, close to both the old and new towns, but the rooms need some serious updating. The staff's service was lacking at times, and although the breakfast consisted mainly of eggs, the dining didn't cater well to variety. However, I enjoyed my room's view and the pool was nice.

Rooms

The room was big and clean, offering a nice view of the tennis courts, but the overall appearance of the complex felt somewhat outdated. The air conditioning worked okay, but there was an unpleasant odor coming from it at times.

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The staff was incredibly welcoming and great with kids, which made the experience more pleasant. However, the dining options were quite limited and not very good. The location was kind of noisy, and the service left a lot to be desired. Overall, it's important to set your expectations accordingly if you decide to visit.

While most staff were friendly, including a lovely guy at the bar, I encountered some negative experiences, like being ignored at times and witnessing conflicts among staff.
Location

The location was quiet, but there were times when it became quite rowdy due to partying guests, which was a bit disruptive.

The hotel has some great aspects like its friendly staff and excellent location near the beach, but it definitely needs some improvement. The rooms showed signs of wear and tear, and the dining experience was a bit chaotic with long lines and limited variety. While I can appreciate the proximity to attractions, the overall comfort and cleanliness left something to be desired.

Rooms

However, the dining options were quite limited, especially during breakfast, which mostly featured eggs. Additionally, the hotel caters primarily to older guests, which impacted the overall atmosphere. I appreciated the clean rooms, but there’s definitely room for improvement in some areas.
